I've been messing with some fancy new CC pedal configs so it's probably gonna continue getting a load more usage imminently so I can't live without that.Īnyway, I'd be pleased to hear any early adopters opinions regardless. I'm gonna leave it a bit longer this time anyway as my Liquid Foot+ Editor is apparently not compatible, so I'll be damned if I'm gonna edit all my hundreds of MIDI foot controller patches via the menus when I wanna add some new sounds or configs.
Ableton live 10 mac compatibility drivers#
Usually I update pretty quickly as I don't have many plugins so if I have compatible Live and Motu drivers I normally don't have too much extra to wait for.

Switching to the MOTU continues to work but switching to internal gives me nothing though. The only problem I get with sound is if I've been sleeping/waking it and using both the MOTU and internal if the MOTU is off sometimes internal audio stops working.

Got the latest audio interface drivers? My Yosemite runs fine with the volume controls in general. Sounds like that might be a bug unique to you though. Will the arrival of El Capitan stop the development of Yosemite? It's not even fixed yet! I have intermittent problem controling the volume, sometimes I can control it with the keyboard (F11 and F12) but most of the time I have to open system preferences->sound to control it. Dealing with all the other pitfalls of GUI Scripting is left as an exercise to OP and their users, natch.Lapieuvre wrote:I just updated last month to Yosemite, and regret it so much. The Note Mode of the selected track will be correctly recalled when loading a Set, if the selected track has something other than the default Note Mode selected on Push 1 or 2. Since the only command used here is `activate`, there’s no need to worry about compiling application-specific terminology. Fixed a bug that prevented certain plug-in devices and track controllability from working as expected. A growing number of music applications have Link built in, which means anyone on the same network can play them in time with Live. Here's a little snippet to maybe give you a better idea of how I'm using that basic tell block I mentioned earlier. People make music using a range of instruments, so Link helps you play together using a range of devices. For a complete listing of DAWs click here.
Ableton live 10 mac compatibility pro#
Would it be better to approach making sure the app is running and top that way? On Windows, we officially support Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio and Cubase. I believe the process name is typically always just "Live". These scripts will work regardless of the version of the app one has, so if I distribute them like this:Ĭan I assume that it will work the same way it did on my machine? In the same area. We strongly advise not updating to macOS 10.15 or above if you wish to continue using Live 9.

High Sierra is the last officially supported macOS version for Live 9. I am planning on giving these away to other music makers that may or may not have the "Suite" version. Live 9 contains certain components which are not supported on macOS 10.15 Catalina or higher. When I first wrote this script it allowed me to type "Live" and auto corrected on run to "Ableton Live 10 Suite" (in automator) as seen above.

I am working on some scripts for a DAW, specifically Ableton live.
